This is a simple example of using webstart to install an application and install JMF at the same time.

Note: These webstart applications are currently in testing, use at your own risk!

Webstart can be used in many ways:
 

• JMediaPlayer - This demo uses JMF with native libraries for Windows, Solaris or Linux. It also uses the Sun MP3 Plugin so it is can play avi, mov, mpg, wav and mp3 formats. Launch Demo
  • Controls:
    • F1 - Open new file
    • F2 - Play CD (windows only)
      • Right Arrow - next track
      • Left Arrow - previous track
    • F10 - Toggle fullscreen mode
    • Space Bar - Play/Stop
  • The JMediaPlayer is also drag & drop enabled, so files can simply be dropped on top of the player to play.
